Compact On-Camera Microphone
The VideoMicro is an ultra-compact on-camera microphone, perfect for filmmakers who need to be fast and nimble.
It features a high-quality cardioid condenser capsule that delivers incredible quality audio with any camera, rugged aluminium construction that provides a high level of RF rejection, and black ceramic anti-glare coating that is incredibly hard-wearing.

This is the one that started it all. The original video mic. First released in 2004, it has gone through a few iterations as more mics have been added to the range, but as its core it is the same high-quality video mic that earned RØDE its place as the go-to brand for on-camera audio.
It features a studio grade ½” condenser capsule, highly directional super-cardioid polar pattern, selectable high-pass filter and two-stage level attenuation for recording loud sound sources.
It’s shoe mount also features a 3/8” thread in the base for easy mounting on a boom pole or mic stand.
VideoMic Pro
Directional On-Camera Microphone
The best-selling VideoMic Pro is the industry standard in on-camera audio. Like the VideoMic, it features a -10db level attenuation switch, as well as a +20dB level boost.
This allows you to reduce your DSLR or mirrorless camera's input level, effectively reducing the amount of noise generated by your camera’s preamp. On top of this, the VideoMic Pro’s high-quality capsule features very low self-noise.
It also has a two-step high-pass filter. The VideoMic pro is battery powered and provides over 70 hours recording from a single 9V battery.
