The Stereo VideoMic Pro is the industry standard in on-camera stereo audio capture. It is ultra-lightweight (just 116g) with a compact form factor that makes it ideal for all kinds of filmmaking.
Featuring a matched pair of high sensitivity ½” cardioid condensers in an XY configuration, two-step high-pass filter, three-stage level control and over 100 hours of use from a single 9V battery, it is more than capable of handling the demands of any shoot. The Stereo VideoMic Pro has a 3.5mm output that, like our directional VideoMics, plugs directly into your camera, making it very user-friendly.
Stereo VideoMic X
Broadcast-grade stereo on-camera microphone
The Stereo VideoMic X is the ultimate broadcast-grade stereo microphone for on-camera use. Utilising all-metal construction, it is incredibly robust, making it ideal for regular professional use, while also providing high levels of resistance to RF interference. It also features a matched pair of ½” condenser capsules, configured in a stacked XY configuration, that deliver an accurate soundscape.
Differing from the Stereo VideoMic Pro, it features a three-step high-pass filter, as well as an innovative high-frequency boost. The unique domed windshield provides protection for the capsules, while also reducing wind noise. The SVMX also features the option of 3.5mm minijack or miniXLR outputs for use with professional camcorders and external recorders.
